Nissan US Sales Rise 13.6% In August Driven By Crossover

(NSANY) said its U.S. automotive sales rose 13.6% in August helped in part by customer purchases of its Rogue crossover vehicle. The auto maker sold 108,493 cars and trucks compared with 95,527 for the same period a year earlier, said Al Castignetti, general manager of Nissan's North America division. "We saw a benefit in our crossover with Rogue sales, which accounted for 6,639 sales," Castignetti said.
