Brazil Petrobras June Domestic Oil Output Up At 1.87 Million BOE/Day

RIO DE JANEIRO -(Dow Jones)- Brazilian state-run oil firm Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), or Petrobras, said Thursday that domestic oil production rose slightly in June compared with May. Domestic oil production was 1.867 million barrels of oil equivalent, or BOE, a day in June, up from output of 1.854 million BOE a day in May, according to Petrobras. Petrobras partly attributed the increase in production to output from new wells linked to the P-52 and P-54 platforms at the Roncador field in the Campos basin. In addition, domestic natural gas output rose to 53.4 million cubic meters a day in June, up from 49.6 million cubic meters a day in May.
