LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Carphone Warehouse announces that earlier Monday, at the General Meeting of the Company, the ordinary resolutions approving the Sale and the Ownership Arrangements under the Shareholders' Agreement with Best Buy, details of which are described in the circular to Shareholders dated Jun. 12, 2008, were duly passed.
All of the pre-conditions to the completion of the Sale have now been satisfied (or, where appropriate, waived) and, accordingly, the Sale has completed. Terms defined in the Circular shall bear the same meaning in this announcement.
