Mexico on Wednesday suspended purchases from 30 U.S. meat plants, including Cargill Inc., Tyson Foods Inc. (TSN), JBS (JBSS3.BR), Seaboard Corp. (SEB) and Smithfield Foods (SFD), Reuters reported Friday on its Web site, citing the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The plants affected produce beef, lamb, pork, and poultry.
