Bayer MaterialScience Enters JV With India's Malibu Plastica

FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- German pharmaceutical and chemical company Bayer AG (BAYN.XE) said Wednesday that its Bayer MaterialScience unit has entered into an agreement with Malibu Plastica Limited, of Ahmedabad, India, to set up a joint venture that will supply polycarbonate sheets to the Indian market.
MAIN FACTS:
-Malibu Plastica is a pioneer of polycarbonate sheet production in India.
-Subject to the relevant approvals, the new joint venture will be called Bayer Malibu Polymers Private Limited and be headquartered in Ahmedabad.
