Exit Polls: Opposition Leads In Romanian General Election
The Social Democrats, allied to the Conservative Party, received 36% support, according to a poll by the Insomar institute for Realitatea TV, and 36.5% according to the CCSB institute for Antena 3 television.
The opposition right-wing Liberal Democrats, close to President Traian Basescu, were second with 30.5% and 30.6% in the respective Insomar and CCSB polls.
