During a telephone conversation, Medvedev and Obama spoke about "the need to organize a meeting soon," said the Kremlin in a statement, without specifying a date.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday that a meeting between the two leaders could take place on Nov. 15 on the sidelines of a G-20 summit in Washington on the global financial crisis.
