WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The head of the Securities Investor Protection Corp. on Monday said that the group hopes to meet with federal regulators later this week as it seeks to sort out how much money customers invested with Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
"We have a meeting with the Securities and Exchange Commission division of trading and markets later in the week," SIPC President Stephen Harbeck told the U.S. House Financial Services Committee.
