"According to our president, we will move in to check everything Wednesday but there is no time fixed," a spokeswoman for Airports of Thailand told AFP when asked when Suvarnabhumi international airport could reopen.
"Although we have officially announced that Suvarnabhumi would remain closed until December 15, we can cancel that announcement whenever we are ready," the spokeswoman said.
The leader of the anti-government People's Alliance for Democracy earlier said the movement would end all rallies at 10:00 a.m. (0300 GMT) on Wednesday after a court stripped the premier of his post and dissolved the ruling party.
The PAD seized control of Suvarnabhumi a week ago and took control of the smaller Don Mueang domestic airport the following day, crippling Thailand's economy and its vital tourism industry.
The government has said that 350,000 travellers were stranded in Thailand because of the siege, while foreign nations have sent emergency flights to evacuate their citizens.
