Venezuela's Tax Agency Temporarily Shuts Down DHL Operations
DHL is owned by Deutsche Post AG (DPW.XE).
The tax agency, known as Seniat, said Friday that it also closed the operations of two Venezuelan shipping firms.
Under President Hugo Chavez, the tax agency has become known for aggressive tax-collection tactics through heavy fines and temporary closures of domestic and foreign-owned companies.
